We designed our EWRS-SLK series of smooth skid steer tire, with a smooth tread face so it has 100% surface area in contact with the ground. Moving to this tread pattern, you can bank an additional 50% wear life over our EWRS-HS series. More wearable tread equals more wear life!

Wear Life Indicator
The EWRS-SLK smooth skid steer tires comes with three stepped ridges on the side of the tread. That gives you a little bit of side traction, but also works as a wear life indicator. This way you can easily see how much wearable tread is remaining on your tire and can plan downtime for when the tires are needing to be replaced.
