The Best Airless Pivot Tire That Won’t Create Pivot Tracks

Continuous traffic on wet soil will compact, smear and heave dirt up on the sides creating a cavern. This prevents the water from seeping through the soil affecting your irrigation efficiency, crop yields, and creates problems when diving other vehicles over them when harvest comes.

Concave Vs. Convex Profiles

Pneumatic pivot tires have a rounded convex profile that digs into the ground to create traction. This pushes soil outwards and with the combination of wet soil and continuous traffic over the same route, causes rutting.

The EWRS-PIVOT airless irrigation tire is engineered to hold soil underneath the tire to prevent rutting. It achieves this with a concave profile and bi-directional tread along with a wide footprint. The concave profile and bi-directional tread hold the soil underneath the tire and the wide footprint distributes the weight across the footprint, which minimizes the issue of deep rutting.

Along with the anti-rutting design, the EWRS-PIVOT is an airless irrigation tire. Being an airless tire, there is no possibility of flat tires which takes time and money to fix. The EWRS-PIVOT is also built with rubber segments that bolt to the wheel. This makes it possible to service the tire right in the field. If a segment is damaged, you can remove that segment and replace it with a new one. Which is much cheaper and faster than having to replace a pneumatic irrigation tire when one gets damaged. No tire shop is needed.

EWRS-PIVOT SERIES

The EWRS-PIVOT series of airless pivot tires from Evolution Wheel offers the most advanced airless technology to the irrigation market. This solution delivers serviceability, traction, and floatation into one impressive offering.

Our tread design and tire profile offer greater traction through mud and obstacles. The unique concave contact face helps eliminate rutting by keeping dirt under the tire, where it belongs. The face of the tire is pointed inwards. Compared to typical pneumatic irrigation tires which convex shape push mud out from under the tire, causing ruts.

Our proprietary segmented design bolts onto our high strength wheel, allowing you the ability to service the tire quickly, eliminating the need to change a tire in the field.

Unlike other airless pivot tires, the EWRS-PIVOT compresses flat pushing material out, it's a self-cleaning system. The compressed cores elongate the footprint of the tire allowing it to wrap over obstacles increasing traction and reducing ground pressure.
