The Best Deep Lug Skid Steer Tires

When it comes to skid steer tires, deep lug skid steer tires are the way to go. Larger lugs allow for more traction and longer wear life however at Evolution Wheel we wanted to go the extra mile. The EWRS-HS series solid skid steer tire is designed with a 52/32" tread depth along with an increased surface area that together maximizes longevity for hard surface applications.

BUILT FOR LONGEVITY AND CONVENIENCE

When designing the EWRS-HS we wanted to create a superior tire for hard surface applications that will lower your ROI. To do this we had to build a skid steer tire that was easily serviceable.

The EWRS-HS series solid skid steer tire is segmented. The segments are bolted onto the high-strength steel rim which allows you to replace a damaged segment with only a 3/4" wrench. This design minimizes downtime from flat tires to only a few minutes right on the job site.

With that being said, the tire is engineered for longevity. Increasing the surface area of the tread spreads the weight of the machine over a larger area lowering ground pressure. The large lugs, 52/32" tread depth, allows for maximum wear time so you don't have to worry about constantly replacing tires. Typically lasting 3-5 times the life of a traditional pneumatic skid steer tire.

A PERFECT ROLLING CIRCLE

The EWRS-HS is also a perfect rolling circle. This creates an extremely smooth ride for the operator limiting driver fatigue. The core geometry also allows the tire to compress similar to a pneumatic while the void space in the tread together provides superior traction.

We designed the unique tread pattern this way with asphalt milling in mind. Using the wrong tires in these types of applications can leave waves on the asphalt as the tire is cutting. The EWRS-HS is specifically designed to not leave waves when operating an asphalt milling head on your skid steer.

EWRS-HS SERIES

The EWRS-HS product series of hard surface skid steer tires were designed to meet the needs of severe duty customers working on hard surfaces and burning through tires daily.

By creating a unique tread design that increases the surface area in contact with the ground, our EWRS-HS product series provides unmatched wear life on concrete and asphalt surfaces. Customers can expect a 30-40% increase in wear life over our ERWS-AT series product line, further reducing cost/hr and increasing their machine ROI.

The tread pattern is one thing, but tread depth is another. To make the new EWRS-HS product series meet the Evolution Wheel standard we gave it the most tread depth of any hard surface tire on the market. By maintaining a 52/32nd tread depth, Evolution Wheel is raising the bar in hard surface applications.

With serviceable tire sections, the need for a service truck, specialized technicians, and press-on machines is all but eliminated. We have reduced your service tooling down to only a 3/4" wrench in your operator's back pocket and repair parts are readily available at your nearest onsite storage container or in the toolbox of your pickup.
